I’ve uploaded my first Tips and Tricks video to the F5Guru YouTube channel that outlines the process of configuring APM so that a user only has to login once. My goals is to make these videos under 5 minutes and around topics that would be of interest to someone that is fairly new to F5 technology. Hope you enjoy.
Does this end up create a new access session in the session table?
Yes, I will be updating the video with a method that will not add a new access session.
I can’t wait thank-you! This is something I have been desperately searching for.
In the demo you have SSO Configuration set to f5demo? Where was that configured? That was not show in the video.
wow, this comment got lost in the SPAM – sorry. You set that in the SSO tab on the APM profile.
Is there a way to make this work in cases where apps have different requirements? For example, say app2 would be updated to provide a webtop, and then create a “Full” session type as opposed to the “ltm_apm” session type.
I don’t think so. The 2nd app VPE will never execute.
Sorry, answered that too quickly. You’re not taking about logic in the VPE just profile type and resource assignment. So yes, that will work.
